Apoorva Agnihotri will return to the arena of daily soaps after his last shot at it with Radhaa Ki Betiyaan on Imagine. This time he is all set to play the mature version of Ranvir in  Star Plus' Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai after it takes its generation leap.

According to our source, "The production house had started scouting for actors to fill in Kinshuk's shoes as soon as he had expressed that he was not willing to play the older Ranvir. They wanted a known face to carry forward this character. Apoorva is known for his decent acting and so they agreed to cast him in the role unanimously."

The source adds, "It will be indeed a treat to watch Apoorva portray a character of this magnitude. Ranvir is the heartthrob of many and it remains to be seen if Apoorva can carry that image further."

Bidaai is about to undergo a thorough change after its leap. One will be that the face of Ranvir will change. Other than that, Sara Khan aka Sadhna will go missing as she will be shown dead. However inside sources claim that there is a slight possibility of Sara coming back later.  The show which started with sisterhood at its core has slowly shifted its focus to many other issues. The leap will only broaden its horizon even more.
