The story track in COLORS' afternoon show Ganga will now focus on the wedding preparations of Ganga and Mahant, but not before few more mysteries get unfolded...

COLORS' afternoon band show, Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki Ganga, produced by BAG Films will now move towards the wedding of Ganga (Jayshree Soni) and Mahant (Tarun Khanna). 

With Ganga getting to know that she was the lover of Mahant in her previous birth, things get sorted out between them.

According to our source, "The story is now moving towards a solid love track between Ganga and Mahant. But they have certain hurdles in their path, in the form of Mahant's bhabhis Vedika (Amrapali Gupta) and Maya (Malini Kapoor). Vedika has openly told her family that she is in love with Mahant, and that Ganga should not marry him. On the other hand, Ganga's mother (Sejal Shah) does not want her daughter to get married to Mahant, and also aims to get a big share of Mahant's property".

The roka ceremony of Mahant and Ganga has happened, but there will be a threat to Ganga's life in the coming episodes.

As per our source, "Ganga is asked to perform a Shanti Havan during which someone in the family has made plans to burn her. There is a big fire sequence wherein Ganga gets engulfed by the fire, but Mahant comes there right on time to save her. This particular scene required the actors to perform some stunts, which they miraculously succeeded in doing".

"After this fire incident, the story will proceed towards their wedding, but there will be yet another hurdle as the old mad woman in the house who is a helper of Mahant, Uttama Chachi (Mugdha) reveals some big secret to Ganga. This will again force Ganga to think whether she has to marry Mahant or not", informs our source.

When contacted, Tarun Khanna told us, "I do not want to talk about the future episodes. All I can tell you is that we have recently shot for a fire sequence which required us to do some dangerous stunts".

Jayshree Soni who plays the title role says, "Yes, the story is moving towards the wedding of Mahant and Ganga. But before that, there is a threat to Ganga's life".

Get ready for few more hidden skeletons to come to the fore in Ganga…
