If the elimination of Vishwas Rai from Sony's Indian Idol 5 came as a shocker, then this week is not much different!!

Meghna Kumar, the girl with abundance of talent and will power had a slightly bad day during the last Gala round, and this has made the difference, as the girl gets ousted from the contest this week.

According to our source, "Pyarelal from the popular Laxmikant Pyarelal duo was the mentor for the contestants this week. The talented bunch of finalists will be seen singing the best of the duo composer's songs. The lead actors of the movie Rajneeti, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal were present to cheer the contestants".

"All thought that Manisha Karmarkar who stopped for a bit while singing was the one bowing out, but it came as a shocker when Meghna Kumar from Jhansi was declared as the eliminated contestant. As per the judges, Meghna's song lacked the feel last week; they were a tad bit disappointed as Meghna who is actually blind had over come all the hurdles in life to reach so far", informs our source.
