After the elimination od Vishwas Rai, Sony's Indian Idol 5 loses yet another talented contestant this week..

If the elimination of Vishwas Rai from Sony's Indian Idol 5 came as a shocker, then this week is not much different!!

Meghna Kumar, the girl with abundance of talent and will power had a slightly bad day during the last Gala round, and this has made the difference, as the girl gets ousted from the contest this week.

According to our source, "Pyarelal from the popular Laxmikant Pyarelal duo was the mentor for the contestants this week. The talented bunch of finalists will be seen singing the best of the duo composer's songs. The lead actors of the movie Rajneeti, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal were present to cheer the contestants".

"All thought that Manisha Karmarkar who stopped for a bit while singing was the one bowing out, but it came as a shocker when Meghna Kumar from Jhansi was declared as the eliminated contestant. As per the judges, Meghna's song lacked the feel last week; they were a tad bit disappointed as Meghna who is actually blind had over come all the hurdles in life to reach so far", informs our source.

Watch the elimination in Indian Idol coming Monday, at 9 PM on Sony..

Its not fair...she was really good. May b the people got confused with Meghna and Manisha...but still as we all know Anu was talking abt Judges VETO Power, so will he use it now ??? He said that he wants that...hope that he does use it to save Meghna..

Its all Anu Mlaik's faults...he is extra strict to Arpita and Meghna just coz they don't look good. Someone explain this to him that this is not a beauty contest! I also ahte his partiality to Yashraj!

did people confused bad singer Manisha with Meghna, if not its just sad that the audiences are so shallow, I suppose pretty trumps everything even in a singing competition.

hope to see meghna as a wild card entry

Im not surprised. Although she had a sweet, melodious voice and sang perfectly in tune most of the time, the judges never really praised her heartily like they do for the guys! They always found fault with her singing, they wanted her out! Besides, Indian voters are so shallow they voted out the handicapped and overweight girl, not the girl (Manisha) who sings completely out of tune!

Manisha deserved to be eliminated not her
fell bad 4 her
Manisha should really get eliminated next week cuz she deserved to be eliminated last week but didn't happen and she deserved to be eliminated this week but didn't happen so she should really be out next week
