The latest twist in Star Plus' Sabki Laadli Bebo will see the character of Amrit being bumped off. With this, Anuj Sachdeva will no longer be part of the show..

Star Plus' Sabki Laadli Bebo as reported earlier has been under the scanner, what with Ekta Kapoor eyeing her earlier slot of 10 PM on Star Plus.

The recent re-union of Amrit (Anuj Sachdeva) and Bebo (Shivshakti Sachdev) had indeed given a ray of hope to the audience as well as the unit. However, what we hear now is a complete shocker!!

The buzz is that the channel and production house have now decided to bump the main character of Amrit, thus giving room for more drama.

According to our source, "Ekta Kapoor has got back the slot of 10PM, and there is every possibility of Sabki Laadli Bebo moving to the afternoon slot in June. Talks are on to bump the character of Amrit, and there are two reasons to it. One is that the channel and production house want some major drama point before they move to the afternoon slot. The other reason is that, Anuj Sachdeva wants to leave the show".

When contacted, Anuj Sachdeva confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am planning to leave the show. In fact, I had a word with the creative team, and we have arrived at a mutual decision. It now looks like they will be killing the character of Amrit. I have waited patiently for six months now, to see a growth in my character. I always felt that my potential as an actor was never utilized; I know that my fans will be disappointed to know that Amrit and Bebo are not going to be together. I have decided to move on, and am now looking forward to a challenging character where I can showcase my talent".

As per our source, "The track of Amrit is likely to wrap up in the first week of June".

We tried calling Rajesh Chaddha, Head of Operations, Endemol but he remained unavailable.

We could not get a confirmation from the channel on the same.
