Vandana Pathak, Malini Kapoor and Anang Desai will soon be seen in Sab TV’s new show Mrs & Mr. Sharma Allahabad wale..


TellyBuzz had earlier reported that Divyanka Tripathi and Rajesh Kumar will be seen portraying the lead characters in Ujjwal Rana's upcoming show on SAB TV, Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad wale. We had also mentioned that Sudha Chandran will be enacting the character of a Punjabi neighbor in the serial.

But the latest news is that as Sudha Chandran is not doing the show due to date issues, as a result of which her role will now be enacted by yet another renowned face in comedy, Vandana Pathak. There has been a slight modification made in the character too, and has been changed from being a Punjabi one to a Gujarati woman. Noted actors Malini Kapoor and Anang Desai will also be seen in the show.

When asked Vandana Pathak, she asserted, "Yes I'm enacting the role of Rajshree Shah, neighbour of Mrs. & Mr. Sharma and to suit my ease I'll be in complete Gujarati attire. I live with my four kids, three sons and a daughter. Though my husband doesn't exist in the serial in person, he keeps sending money orders. So I assume that he exists somewhere (smiles)".

Along with Rajshree Shah the Sharma's seem to have another neighbor called Aarti Sharma enacted by Malini Kapoor. "Yes I  enact the character of the second neighbor. I'm also Sharma but influenced by Mumbai lifestyle; I speak in English and try to teach the same to Mrs & Mr Sharma but the attempts go in vain. So it's all filled with fun", stated Malini Kapoor.

Last but not the least, veteran actor Anang Desai will be back to his hilarious best with Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad wale. "I enact the character of the Boss to Mr. Sharma; a strict yet comic one though", commented Anang.

Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad wale will launch on 17th May at 9.30pm on SAB TV.
