Praneeta Sahu who essays the grey shaded character of Ritu in Imagine and Rajshri Productions' Do Hanson Ka Jodaa has of late been seen murmuring her lines, which gives an impression that something is certainly wrong with her mouth and speech.

We inquired further and got to know that Praneeta had a fall from the steps one month back, wherein she landed on her face, thus hurting her jaw badly.

When contacted, Praneeta told us, "Yes, it is true that I fell from the stairs; I fell on my chin and suffered a jaw fracture; there was a twist too in the jaw. I had to be operated upon, and plenty of wires were put binding my gums with the aid of rubber bands. I was in the hospital for one week or so. After the operation, I was physically fit, but I had to remain on liquid diet for four weeks, till the time the wires were on. Just a week back, I got rid of the wires. I am completely fine now. My face looks a bit distorted even now but guess, all will be fine with few more days of rest (smiles).".

Praneeta who plays the sister-in-law of Suryakamal (Shaleen Bhanot) had taken a break from shoot. "Rajshri Productions co-operated with me so much, and gave me enough time to recover. They never even thought of replacing me from the show. They used to call me for a day's shoot and balance it out by giving me an off for the next four days. I have been shooting on and off for the show, even with the wires. You must have observed the green thing in my mouth, those were the rubber bands that held the wires to my gums. The surgery and the post operative period were really painful, but I am glad that all the efforts have paid off. Today I can talk freely, laugh and most importantly have normal food (smiles)".

Talking about the future track, Praneeta said, "Yes, you will see more of Ritu now that I am fine. Ritu will turn completely negative in the coming episodes".

Guess the evil Ritu is all set to play her cards now!!
