Talented actor Sudha Chandran will soon be seen in a Punjabi avatar in SAB TV's upcoming show Mr & Mrs Sharma…

TellyBuzz had earlier reported that Divyanka Tripathi and Rajesh Kumar will be seen portraying the lead characters in Ujjwal Rana's upcoming show on SAB TV, Mr & Mrs Sharma Allahabadwaale. We had also mentioned that Pratima Kazmi who essays the role of Tapasya's Dadi in COLORS' Uttaran, Riddhi Dogra  and Atul Srivastava who is seen as Bindiya's father in COLORS' Sabki Jodi Wohi Banata Bhagyavidhata will also be a part of the serial.

According to our source the latest update on the show is that, "Pratima Kazmi's role will now be enacted by Sudha Chandran and Riddhi Dogra's role will be portrayed by Akruti Singh who was a part of the show Mere Apne. Sudha Chandran would be seen as a friendly neighbour of Mr & Mrs Sharma whereas Akruti will be essaying the character of Divyanka's sister-in-law."

When contacted, Sudha Chandran confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I'm playing a pivotal role in the serial, that of a neighbour. My character is very dominating, who loves gossiping and I'll be seen in complete Punjabi attire".

We tried calling Akruti but she remained unavailable.

Ridhi Dogra who was earlier to play the sister of Rajesh Kumar told us, "My role in Laagi Tujhse Lagan got extended, and I am busy with Sony's Seven too. So I could not squeeze in time for this show as well".

Our source also mentioned that, "Atul Srivastava will be essaying the character of a house broker who actually helps Divyanka and Rajesh in buying the flat".

Atul Srivastava also remained unavailable for comment.

The channel is expected to start the shoot for the show very soon.
