Balaji Telefilms' upcoming show on Imagine, Sarwagun Sampanna will have a political backdrop set in Kolhapur.

The story will be about a political Maharastrian family who are very well –off. The male lead of the show will be from this family.

According to our source, "Known actress Nivedita Joshi Saraf, wife of Ashok Saraf of Hum Paanch fame will be the leading lady of the political family. Prasad Pandit will play her politician husband. Pramod Pawar will play the father of the female protagonist. Tanvi Thakkar who was last seen in Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana will play the bahu of the politically rich family. Pooja Bose is slated to play the female lead in the show. The male lead has not been finalized yet".

Nivedita Joshi Saraf who was seen in Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi can be well remembered as the sister of Shahrukh Khan and Jackie Shroff in the movie King Uncle.

Nivedita Joshi Saraf confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am part of the show. I do not have much detail, because I am busy with my theatre activities too. All I can say is that the story is about a Maharashtrian family which is a kind of Raj Gharana. I have five kids and my husband is very powerful. I am playing a typical house wife, soft spoken and loving".

Pooja Bose said, "Nothing is confirmed as of now". Pooja Bose was earlier the lead of Star Plus' Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana.

Tanvi Thakkar confirmed that she is part of the show and said, "I play the Bahu in the political family. I am a Punjabi girl who gets married into the Maharashtrian family. I play a very positive demure kind of a girl".

The show is expected to go on floor on April 19th, and the show is expected to launch sometime in May.
