According to our source, "Kshitee Jog
will play Varun Badola
's wife. Reshmi Ghosh
will play the wife of Krip Suri who happens to be Varun Badola
For the uninitiated, the show is the tale of a daughter (Archana Taide
) who fights for the pride of her mentally challenged father, played by Pramod Moutho. Varun Badola
will play the chacha of the female lead. New face Krip Suri plays Varun Badola
's son, while Bharat Kaul
will essay the role of a Chief Engineer in the coal mine. Veteran actress Sulbha Arya
will play the dadi of the female lead Anmol.
When contacted, Kshitee
told us, "Yes, I am doing the show. I have been asked to play Varun Badola
's wife. But we are now in the finalization stage, and will be able to tell you more about it tomorrow".
It was reported elsewhere that Reshmi Ghosh
was due to play Varun Badola
's wife. But the fact is that she was approached to play the bahu of the younger generation, and not Varun's wife. Reshmi
clarified this bit of news to TellyBuzz saying, "I am not playing Varun's wife. In fact, he is my father-in-law in the show. I play the wife of Krip Suri. My character is completely negative, and I support my husband in all ways possible. This is a very interesting role and am looking forward to it".Bharat Kaul
