Sony's upcoming show, Maan Rahe Tera Pitah will see the likes of Sulbha Arya, Krip Suri and Bharat Kaul essaying important roles...

Swastik Pictures and Sony Entertainment Television's upcoming show Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah, as reported earlier is about the tale of a daughter who fights for the pride of her mentally challenged father. The show is expected to launch at a prime time slot on April 26th.

We had earlier mentioned that Archana Taide of Swarg fame will play the female lead in the show. Veteran actor Pramod Moutho will play her father, while Varun Badola will essay the role of the female lead's chacha.

The latest is that veteran actor Sulbha Arya will play the mother of Pramod Moutho. New face Krip Suri will play the negative lead in the show. Noted actor Bharat Kaul will also be part of the show.

According to our source, "Krip Suri essays the role of Varun Badola's son, and is the negative lead in the show. Sulbha Arya plays the very positive dadi of the female lead. Bharat Kaul essays the role of a Chief Engineer in the coal mine, which happens to be the backdrop for the show".

When contacted, Krip Suri confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am part of Maan Rahe Tera Pitah. But I can't divulge detail now".

Sulbha Arya on her part said, "I have not started shoot yet. All that I know is that I play the mother of Pramod Moutho. She is the very supportive mother and grand mother in the family".

We tried calling Bharat Kaul, but he remained unavailable.

Reshmi Ghosh who has been missing from television will make her comeback with this show.

The first outdoor shoot is presently happening in Chattisgarh, and the unit is supposed to get back to Mumbai on 5th April.
