Sahara One will come up with a new Contiloe Telefilms' show Bitto, in which Pallavi Gupta plays the lead..

We had earlier reported that Sahara One is also planning a revamp post IPL. We had written about Jay Mehta's upcoming show Katputli. The latest is that Contiloe Telefilms who is presently producing Jhansi Ki Rani on Zee TV is coming up with a show on Sahara One, tentatively titled Bitto. The story is about a low caste girl who will fight against all odds and emerge triumphant.
   
According to our source, "Pallavi Gupta who was earlier seen in Hum Ladkiyan and Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke will play the protagonist".

"The girl is initially troubled by the upper caste, as she belongs to the lower caste. The show is all about her struggle to the top, wherein she becomes the head of the village. The rest of the caste has not been finalized", adds our source.

We tried calling Producer Abhimanyu Singh, but he remained unavailable.

Pallavi Gupta refused to comment. The show is expected to launch post IPL.
