Sony's upcoming show Godh Bharai will see Shakti Anand and Mohit Malik coming together to play the leads...

We had reported yesterday that Pallavi Subhash has bagged the lead role in Sony's upcoming show 'Godh Bharai' produced by Sphere Origin.

The male leads of the show have been finalized, and it will be Shakti Anand and Mohit Malik essaying the roles.

According to our source, "The story will revolve around two couples, wherein the two guys are thick friends. Shakti Anand and Mohit Mallik will play the leads in the show, while Pallavi Subhash essays the role of Shakti Anand's wife. A new comer has been cast opposite Mohit Mallik".

"Shakti Anand will be the supportive husband of Pallavi Subhash, and they have no kid even after 5 years of marriage", adds our source.

Confirming the news, Shakti Anand said, "Yes, I play Pallavi Subhash's husband in the show. But I can't tell you more as I have not started shoot yet".

We tried calling Mohit Malik, but he refused to comment.

Mohit Malik was last seen in Nach Baliye and Zee TV's Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, while Shakti Anand was last seen in Sony's Bhaskar Bharti.

"The shoot of the show has begun today, but only Pallavi Subhash has started shoot. The other main characters will start shoot very soon. The show is expected to launch in the second week of March at a prime time slot", adds our source.
