Aapki Antara's Aditya victim to cancer?

The buzz is that Aditya’s stomach pain in Zee’s Aap Ki Antara is no small thing but in fact due to cancer!


Zee and Drishtant Media's Aap Ki Antara is supposedly up for a major twist. If latest reports are to be believed, then Aditya (Darshan Pandya) has fallen prey to cancer.

The recent episodes of Aap Ki Antara have shown the protagonist Aditya Verma reeling with stomach pain at regular intervals.

According to our source, "Aditya gets to know that he has cancer. He is shocked and completely shattered with this report. He tries to do everything to settle his family so that they have a safe future. He will be seen fighting with life, fighting against all odds, to fulfill his family's dreams faster."

Adds the source, "After the time slot of Aap Ki Antara got changed, the creatives have been forced to add more drama to the serial as per the requirement of the audience of late night hours. The pressure is on to shift the focus from autism (the very essence of the show) to family drama. This is a desperate attempt to garner TRPs which have fallen badly since the leap happened along with change in time slot."

On Aditya's illness, Producer Monish Sekhri says, "It can be cancer. We haven't decided on it yet."

If truly Aditya has cancer, then is it terminal or curable? Are we seeing the last of this character? Well, lots of questions to be answered, we guess in the coming episodes...

The episode which will reveal about Aditya's illness is to be aired tonight...

    Its trps which r 2 b blamed

    I think that this show was made 2 shw the problems of autism.But unfrtunately it didn't pick trps(the ridiculus measure of a show's popularity) with such focus.
    So presuure came on the creative team that in the absence of low trps, the show will have 2 b discntinued.
    Thus just for continuing the telecast of this show, poor writers have 2 shw drama.
    Awareness about autism can be spread if the show continues n the show will continue if trps are good.
    So its the viewers wh increase trps of the stupid hyper dramatic shows are to be blamed for all this who didn't support the simplicity of the show.

    YAHAN MANI GHAR GHAR KHELI AND CHHOTI BAHU ARE THE WORST SHOWS ON ZEE TV

    You've got to be kidding me! It was much better focused on Antara/Autism. Now it's just going to be yet another "bakwaas" family drama (I hope I used that word correctly). Another good show has fallen into "same old, same old" territory.
