Beyond Dreams and noted Director, Swapna Waghmare Joshi have joined hands to produce a new show, tentatively titled 'Paheli'.

Swapna Joshi who has directed many serials on television like Hotel Kingston, Teen Bahuraniyan to name a few, will be debuting as producer with this show. The lady is also the Director of the Himesh Reshammiya movie, Ishq Unplugged.

Paheli is a story set up in Gujarat, and is about a mystery that looms large in the life of the female protagonist.

According to our source, "The show was earlier meant for Star One, but the channel heads are now considering on moving the show to Star Plus".

The story and concept of Paheli is by Swapna Waghmare Joshi.

When contacted, Swapna Joshi confirmed to Telly Buzz that she is indeed turning Producer with this show. "Yes, I am producing the show. But I can't divulge any other information".

According to our source, "The female lead of the show is got, but the male lead has not been finalized. Yashshree Masurkar who plays the lead in Zee Marathi's serial, Lakshman Resha has been finalized to play the lead in Paheli. The girl presently plays the role of Shivani in the Zee Marathi show that deals with the life of a Kabaddi player".

When called Yashshree, she said, "Yes, I have given audition for the show. But I am already doing a show on Zee Marathi, and if I get this offer I will have to work out my dates. So all I can tell you is that nothing is finalized".

Noted actor Vinod Kapoor will play the female lead's father.

Yash Patnaik's Beyond Dreams who produce the show along with Swapna Joshi have earlier produced a suspense thriller for Star Plus, titled Chehra.

We tried calling Yash Patnaik, but he remained unavailable.
