It was recently reported that Star One's Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms which launched in June this year, might probably go off air in the first or second week of October, and in its place will arrive Cinevistaas' new show, which is loosely based on Maid in Manhattan.

Telly Buzz did talk to sources in the channel as well as the production house, and this is what we got in answer.

The channel spokesperson clearly denied the news of Love Ne… going off air. "Love Ne Mila Di Jodi is certainly not going off air. In fact, we are intensely working on the future scripts of the show. And as for the launch of the new show of Cinevistaas, we have at least two prime time slots in 8 PM and 10.30 PM vacant even now. So I don't think we need to close one existing show to bring a new show on air".

The new show of Cinevistaas which was earlier titled Kya Yahi Pyaar Hai will now be titled 'Jaana Pehchana Sa…Yeh Ajnabee'. As reported earlier, the show will have Siddharth Shukla of Babul fame, new face Aditi Tailang and Ajay Balhara in it.

As per our source, "The show will launch sometime in October, and is tipped to take the 8 PM slot which is vacant. But nothing is finalized at the moment. However, the news about Love Ne.. going off air is not true".

We also called up Shyamashis Bhattacharya of Shakuntalam Telefilms to know more about the future of Love Ne.. and this is what he had to say. "I honestly do not have any answer, and have been told nothing. You please enquire with the channel".

We even talked to one of the leads of the show, Chandana Sharma who categorically denied the news and said, "The news is untrue. The show is not going off air. You better speak to the channel for more details".

We tried calling Palki Malhotra, of Cinevistaas to get a confirmation on the time slot of their new show, but she remained unavailable.

With all this, we only hope that Love Ne.. stays on to impress its viewers!!
