Star Voice of India, Mummy ke Superstars
will have a change of anchor. Singer Akriti Kakkar
who co-hosted this Star Plus children singing reality show along with Ali Asgar
has quit due to date problems. She says "I will not be part of the show from next week. My dates were not matching due to ever-changing schedules."Producer Fazila Allana of SOL
also confirmed the same saying "Our dates had shifted and she had already committed for ground shows which were out of the city, so we decided to go in for a rotating second anchor situation, to make it easier for all. She will be joining us on the show whenever feasible".
Akriti herself a product of talent show(Sa Re Ga Ma Talent Hunt 1998)further added that she has no grouse for the dates changing. "These things are bound to happen with kid shows and the channel and production house had been kind enough to change some schedules for me. But ultimately I had to call it quits as I had other professional work, which could be not be moved. But I hope to be in the finale, if possible."
However, Akriti is sad to quit the show with only four episodes left. "We all i.e SOL, the kids, mums and even the judges had became like a family. The kids keep calling me for singing out their songs. They don't even know that I am out", she ended sadly.Reporter and Author: Anil Merani
