Rajan Shahi's Directors' Kut has given viewers two interesting shows in Sapna Babul Ka.. Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, both on Star Plus. Now, the countdown has begun for the launch of their eagerly awaited third venture on television, which will be on COLORS.

The show titled 'Maat Pita Ke Charnon Mein Swarg' is all about respecting and loving your parents, and having a strong family bonding.

According to our source from the industry, "The show will see the comeback of Pracheen Chauhan who was earlier seen playing the role of Antariksh in Zee's Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka. The actor who played a handicapped person in the Zee show will again portray a similar character in the show, as this was the demand of the storyline. The show will see a new face in Nikhil who will be the male lead along with Pracheen. Yatin Karyekar of Betiyaan fame and Jyoti Gaba will essay the roles of the boys' parents. Yatin has a different look in the show and poses a wig and a moustache".

"The first promo of the show is on air, and it speaks of the present era wherein there exists no character like Dasharath today, and the mother is mostly a Kaikeyi. Ram goes to Vanvaas but there is no Lakshman to accompany his brother. The look and feel of the promo has come out very well, and the interesting part is that the entire promo for a change revolves around men", adds our source.

"The launch date and time slot has not been finalized yet. Things will unfold in the near future", states our source.

We tried calling Rajan Shahi to know more on the concept, but he was unavailable for comments.

We also tried talking to Pracheen Chauhan, but his phone was unreachable.

Yatin Karyekar accepted that he is part of the show, but refused to disclose more details. "The promo in itself gives you the exact picture of what the show is about. I cannot divulge any info at the moment".
