Telly Buzz had earlier reported about the unique concept where couples will be engaged in stand-up comedy in the show on Star One, Hans Baliye, produced by Violet Pictures.

We had written that there will be eight couples taking part in the show. As reported by us, few of the couples who have been approached are Sachin Shroff – Juhi Parmar, Ali Merchant – Sara Khan, Shailesh Gulabani – Ashita Dhawan, Jaspal Bhatti – Savita Bhatti, Rajesh Kumar – Madhvi and Gurdeep Guggi who was seen in Laughter Challenge and his wife Kuljeet.

Adding to this, we give you few more names of couples who have been approached. "Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar and Srikanth Maski with his wife have also been approached as participants. Maski was seen in Great Indian Laughter Challenge. However, the final list of the couples doing the show has not been arrived at", says our source. 

We tried calling Bakhtiyaar, but he said, "I am not doing the show as of now".

Rajesh Kumar when contacted said, "Talks are on, but nothing is finalized yet".

We sent text messages to both Sachin and Juhi, but did not get any reply. Ali Merchant refused to comment on this, and the same happened with Ashita Dhawan.

The hosts for the show though have been finalized. "Sunil Grover, the stand-up comedian who hosted the mock show Kaun Banega Champu on Sahara Filmy will be seen as host. And giving him company is Gaurav Gera">Gaurav Gera, who essayed the character of Nandu in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi. There were many other names short listed, but the production house and channel wanted the hosts to have flair in mimicry and comedy, thus zeroed in on these two names", states our khabroo.

When contacted Gaurav, he said, "I do not want to comment on this now". Sunil Grover was unavailable for comments.

We had earlier reported that big names like Daler Mehndi, Juhi Chawla and Raveena Tandon were in talks to chair the judges' seat. "It looks as though Daler Mehndi is almost finalized, but Juhi Chawla is surely not doing the show. Raveena has been approached, but there are chances of Karisma Kapoor bagging the place of the second judge in the show", adds our source.

The show was to launch in the last week of May, but it is heard that they have postponed the launch by a week or so.

Let's wait and see what the final line-up for the show looks like...
