#BiggBossRankings: Hina Khan DROPS as a surprise contestant takes the TOP spot..

We are back with the weekly Bigg Boss rankings and there couldn't have been a bigger shake-up in spots as this week.

Not only did several contestants change in their approach of providing entertainment and content, but also there were complete switch-overs for many owing to the respective situations in the house.

At number 10 is Sshivani Durga, where after giving one of the biggest moments last week, Sshivani was almost absent this time. Inspite of being nominated, Sshivani was as non-existent as anyone can get except for a flicker last night. This leads to her dropping to the last spot from the 7th spot.

We have a new entrant at the 9th spot in the form of Puneesh Sharma. Be it his idea of having a cooked-up romance saga with Bandgi Kalra or entering in a feud situation at the end just to gain some footage, Puneesh has managed to grab the light at some instances.

As obvious as it can get, if Puneesh is at the 9th spot, Bandgi also deserves to be in the list. However, the reason Bandgi grabs the 8th spot is because of her being a silent spectator during everything. Her love story with Puneesh may be as fake as it can get, but she did give a lot of footage this week and at the same time did not become the 'bad one.'

Another contestant that witnesses a drop in the ratings this week is Akash Dadlani as he falls to the 7th spot from the 5th spot. The man had a hero-villain moment last week, but this week he hasn't an active part of several proceedings. However, he did what he does best and that is provide entertainment. His comment about being related to Vishal Dadlani created a stir in the outside world too.

While several contestants dropped in the charts, contestant Sapna Choudhary rises this week. The clear content-giver this week, her motive was clear - torture Arshi Khan as much as she can. From following her everywhere to berating her and being the most active person, Sapna rises in the rankings to the 6th spot.

Losing her top spot and dropping miserably is Hina Khan. She seems to have completely lost the plot and has no idea what is going on. From launching dirty attacks to being the loud mouth, Hina has done it all. In her mega fight with Vikas, one can take whoever's side one wants to; but her flipping over towards former enemies in a matter of seconds was really surprising. The reason she gets the 5th spot is the fact that she was as active as Sapna or Vikas throughout the week.

Arshi Khan maintains her 4th spot from last week. However, the reasons for the same is completely different. From being the hated woman last week, she became the victim to Sapna's wrath. To an extent, Arshi tackled that with amazing control. The reason can also be fear, but nonetheless, Arshi did what she has come here to do - and that is prove her presence. Her newly formed feud with Shilpa is also gaining ground as she tackles Sapna's jabs.

Shilpa Shinde may not have been herself completely this week, but we saw a new side of her. After being the subject of insensitivity during Vikas's crying segment, she went on to flip amazingly and develop a supposed friendship with Vikas, just when he was about to be the captain. Strategic or naive, this move was smart but may be lethal later as she falls to the 3rd spot.

Making a roaring entry into the list is none other than Hiten Tejwani. After getting some flak from Salman for being quite, Hiten did a great job this week. During the Raja-Rani task, the way he handled a furious Sapna was commendable. He was not only applauded but contestants' respect for him shooted even more. We also saw a fun side of Hiten as he had some hilarious moments with Arshi throughout the week. It would be interesting to see if the 'So-Far-Perfect' Hiten manages to stay at this position.

What a week it was for Mr. Vikas Gupta as he becomes number one. From being the subject of negativity and gang attack in the earlier days of the week, Vikas went on to have a complete switch becoming the first captain of the Bigg Boss house. His monstrous feud with Hina only seemed to have worked in his favour and it was also good to see him act a lot more balanced after being the captain.

It's pathetic to see that inspite of coming in the house, the padosis continue to be lacklustre. Especially Lucinda Nicholas seems to be an imaginary person as one can hardly spot her.

It was a major shake-up this week for many contestants, but just like the Bigg Boss house, nothing is permanent here.

I love Vikas and Hiten. Hope they become good friends. Hina is fake. Hate her. Arshi and Shilpa did their part well without being nasty. Loving Shikas budding friendship.
