Rajan Shahi's latest offering Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been received very well by viewers, and this is evident with the TRPs which seem to touch a new high with every passing week!! But now comes a very interesting twist in the tale, as we finally see the introduction of the male lead and his family sometime next week!!

Our reliable sources gave us information that the male lead Karan Mehra">Karan Mehra aka Naitik, who will go on to play husband to Akshara (Hina Khan) has already started shooting. "There is huge anticipation in the minds of viewers who are eager to see the boy's family being introduced in the show. But unlike Akshara's family which saw a mix of known actors and fresh faces, Naitik's family will comprise of many newcomers as well as less known actors", explains our source.

"Sonali Verma who was earlier seen in Ardhangini and Dulhann will play mother to Naitik, while Sandeep Mehta who was part of Kasturi will play the boy's dad. Many new comers along with Sanjay Gandhi and Marathi actress Medha will be seen in the big joint family of the boy", adds our source.

It is heard that the boy's family has started shooting from today, and their introduction will be seen in the first week of March.

The channel and the production house have been extremely tight-lipped of this development, and our persistent attempts to get a confirmation from Producer Rajan Shahi failed, as he was busy with his shoots.

The buzz also goes that the production house has erected a fabulous set which will be the abode of the boy's family.

So plenty to look forward to in Yeh Rishta in the coming week!!
