After a petition to BAN 'Pehredaar Piya Ki', another petition in favour of the show circulates

These ppl who r opposing the show, they have nothing better to do. To their disappointment, BCCC has not banned the show. So chill okay. If u do not understand the context of the plot, don't blame others. If u say, why it was done like this , why not another way - so you stop all rapes, drugs, murders in movies and shows - these can also be avoided if the production team wants, right. There is something called fate - providence - which has been shown and the characters are trying their best to adjust in that limited context. Nobody will make a big deal if the child give a pencil dust rose once in a while to the girl in that situation. Thing that was to be avoided has already happened, nobody can do anything now - understand the situation. U bashers are sad why the atmosphere is not gloomy, morose and the child is not shown as if he was abused - well sorry, this kid was handled in a mature manner by the girl - her behavior is very measured in response to how the kid approaches her. So grab a fosters get some steam off your overheated brains !!!

I saw some comments comparing this to Lamhe and nishabdh. Please understand those were relations between consulting adults. You can also go and check Tamil movie sindhu samaveli.it is a controversial theme.But the characters are adults. Here a child is made to behave adult. And the so called independent lady does nothing to protect that innocence of the child. If u are pehredaar take care of the child than make the child behave like an adult to you. Most of the people who are opposing is because of such lack of sensitivity.

This is a pervert show promoting illegal actions. The subject can still be shown but what matters is the intention or what it promotes. It seems unlike Balika Vadhu, this show is talking in favour of child marriage in the name of God-knows-what kind of love. Nonsense !!


Also I am surprised to see the actor kid's parents agreeing to have their child enact in this show. These things make a long term deep psychological impact on the kids. Horrible to see people lacking awareness or being ignorant to child psychology like this. Hope this show shuns off asap. The last thing the society needs right now is an under-age marriage for whatever XYZ reason !

That is another problem, the makers are justifying this illegal act as if it is some noble cause. there is hundred of different ways to protect a child then get married to him. in addition this nine year old should concentrate on school and homework, instead, he is way too enthusiastic about this "marriage." it was his idea to go on a honeymoon because "that is what married couples do," next he will ask when will they have kids like other married people. as usual, all this will be justified by the writers and the fans. If the writers were responsible individuals, then they would leave suhaag rat, honeymoon, stalking and trip fall catch scenes out of it. Showing child marriage as if it some noble cause is even more cringeworthy. there is nothing noble about, it is a form of child abuse and destruction child rights.

PPK has not handled the subject with sensitivity. The child actor behave as if he is husband. Yes telling to hold hands if she feels afraid was a very uncomfortable scene. Most important thing is it is justified by showing rituals. There are many things in which a woman independence and courage can be shown. Not the marriage with the child which is illegal as per Indian law.if she willingly marries a child then she is breaking law. Is doing something criminal is progressive or woman independence. If they had wanted this atleast they should have made it period drama. Say in 70 or 80 and dealt with it sensitively

Around 95% of the supporters of this show are female leads fans whom she gained from her previous shows. and they are considering the people who are against this show are tejaswi haters. this is the first thing to change. people hav nothing again her. yes i hav problm with her justifications like ppk is progressive show..comparisn with GOT and all.
The problem of this show starts with the title. 'Pehredaar Piya Ki' this piya means beloved or lover ..or even if we call husband as piya, it comes with the emotions which a wife feels for her husband. if show makers takes their relation as only friendship, the name shouldnt have piya -_-
And coming to bv, phulwa and gulaal. All these shows showed childmarriage in negative note. but here in show they are showing it as something which is not wrong. infact a good thing for a good purpose? 8:30 being a prime time slot and family slot, defo childern will watch this show and what kind of message it is passing? it will affect their mentality :/ and leave audience.. what about the child actor? god knows what kind of thinking is imprinting in his heart and mind.

ps : now fans dont come with excuses of shows with children ploting and planning. those shows were equally bashed. and also two wrong wont make one right _/\_

pps : if makers want to stop these, then just take a 15 year leap. no one will bash the show or makers or fans then
