TZP is out of the Oscars!?!?!?

Disgraceful. I refuse to believe that any other foreign language movie could have been more amazing than that one. Bad judgement, Oscar people!! :-(

Anyway, I haven''t seen Slumdog, but I''ve heard it''s really good, so I hope it does well at the Oscars! :-)

Ok, I just saw the movie....It was fantastic! And honestly, I think the child actors were the best part of the movie....Dev and Frieda (though she was hardly in it) were good too, but I believe the child actors deserved a nomination at the Oscars even more so.....

k slumdog, after seeing it, is definitely one of the best movies ever made in my opinion...it''s really a proud thing that A.R. Rehman is nominated and is likely to win...but u kno the sad thing is that we are more proud of these foreign awards than our own like why do we need a gora to tell us whether something is good or not? it should b proud enough for us when talent gets recognized in our own country...just my thots on oscars in general...but slumdog itself deserves all the awards in the world i have never seen such a beautiful movie

    Slumdog and our hope

Why should we be proud of it. It was produced and directed by foreign nationals!
    That makes us proud?

Kids in the movie also deserves the credit

The movie is amazing and one of the best and should surely win the oscars. but one thing tht bothers me is that so much credit is given to Freida Pinto when her is role in the film is only 25%...the major credit of the movie goes to the children in the movie,,especially the youngest kid who played Jamal in the movie...so much publicity is done but not even one credit is given to the kids..I think Freida actng was ok int he film..Yes Devan Patel did fantastic job but the credit really should go to kids. And these kids should be allowed to come to Oscars....this is there one time opportunity....and that should be provided to them...
