Star Plus seems to be in no mood of stopping as the introduction of NEW shows have been a regular occurrence in the recent times. While, the channel presented over six shows in the past three months, it has 'Love Ka Hain Intezaar' ready to join the Star Plus Dopahar brigade this month itself.

And before we soak this information, the channel has another magnum opus project ready and rolling. The upcoming mega show, 'Aarambh' has been in the news for a long time now.

Apart from the show marking veteran actress, Tanuja Mukherji's debut on the small screen, here are the details of the show which is bound to raise the interest levels to the maximum.

From K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of Bollywood blockbuster films like 'Bahubali', 'Bajrangi Bhaijan' and 'Bahubali 2', comes this magnum opus show. The story narrates the clash of two civilizations born and built out of two different existential needs; one desperately wanting what the other had and the other fighting to defend what they believed to be rightfully theirs.

Devsena (Karthika Nair), the apparent heir and an unparalleled warrior, born in matriarchal society will be seen heading the Dravidian clan to rescue it from the ambush of the Aryans, who in search of Sapt Sindhu are willing to leave no stone unturned. It is on the battlefield that she encounters an admirable warrior from the Aryan clan, Varundev (Rajniesh Duggall), who through his endurance has risen up the ranks in a democratic society. This battle marks the beginning of not just the biggest conflict there once was between these two civilizations but also unfurls the story of two warriors who are fighting from opposite sides unaware of the fact that destiny has something else planned for them.

This roller coaster ride of a show will transport the viewers to a mystical era where nothing is what it seems.

This weekend family show will see Tanuja Mukerji on television as Hahuma, the spiritual leader of Dravidians, who is beyond time and is seen prophesying the future of Dravidians as well as Aryans.

Aarambh is driven by all the variants of the human emotions' spectrum - love, jealousy, pride, hatred, greed and all the other shades in between and therefore, is set to keep the audiences intrigued and wanting to see more.

Well the theory of Aryans and Dravidians have long been under scrutiny and it would be safe to surmise that it is one that has been rejected. But the premise of the show holds promise. If we indeed are transporting ourselves back to that era then there is no denying that the Central Asian decended on Indian mainland and gradual shift of the original clan towards south took place. The centralised plot of power succession between these two group would add another amazing aspect to story telling. But the real question is will they be able to show the stroy without any bias? And more importantly will the Indian audience accept it without a stench of offence? I for one would like to put my stakes and watch this stuff. I want to see how far the envelope on Indian TV can be pushed or can it be pushed at all. The article at no point mentions one clan ranking higher in order. It simply states it as a power clash between two rivals of equal status. I am hoping against everything that this time we have something to applaud on Indian TV.

Read the article and thought the premise of the story was strong and interesting. But since I was a non-Indian, did not even realize these named clans were based off history (although Aryans did ring some bells). Going through the comments only did I find out that its a sensitive issue. Better not create hate and controversy over a bit of history with no authenticity . Rest, I wish them luck.

Stop immediately this nonsense.
AIT is false, AMT might be true or not.
Even Genetically now it is proven that There is no difference of Aryan and Drawidian.

Senseless drama.

This will create rifts in India and fray of North vs. South

Sounds interesting... But I don't know whether are TRP audience are ready for such shows, sadly...This show sounds like some classic which would have been a huge hit in the old DD1 times... But now when saas, bahus n snakes are eating the whole trp cake, I am feeling apprehensive for the show... But nevertheless I wish its team Good Luck!

there are so many problems pertaining between norh and almost every part of the country...why to exacerbate it? I am not saying that everyone is going to watch it..but people who do watch it are going to believe that aryans invaded dravidiams n blah blah...stupid people...as someone said in the comments section..the aryan invasion theory is a hoax...idiotic cvs..cant think of a story so why not give badhava to any fake theory and create a story out of it..
