Anjori Alagh bags the role of Seeta aur Geeta...

Bohra Brothers’ adaptation of the very popular film of yester years, Seeta Aur Geeta will launch in February in a prime time slot on NDTV Imagine…

As reported earlier by Telly Buzz, Mouni Roy was to play the dual role of Seeta and Geeta in the show. But now, the buzz is that the actress is no longer part of the show, and the production house is looking for a replacement.

We called up Mouni Roy who confirmed, “Yes, it is true that I was short listed for the role. But things did not work out, and I am not doing it now”.

According to our source, “Anjori Alagh, daughter of popular actress Maya Alagh has now bagged the meaty role”.

The very beautiful Anjori debuted in Bollywood with the movie Life Mein Kabhie Kabhie. Basically, a Business Management student from Stanford University, America, she took to acting as a pass time, and now bags the lead role in Seeta Aur Geeta, the upcoming show on NDTV Imagine.

We called up producer Sunil Bohra for a confirmation on the lead, but he said, “We are in the last stage of finalizing things, and can give a clear picture in few days time”.

For the uninitiated, the dashing Rahil Azam and Cezanne Khan will play the roles of Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar respectively in the show. Remember, you heard about the comeback of Cezanne to television, and also about the versatile Rahil being part of the show, first on Telly Buzz.

Let’s hope this modern version of Seeta Aur Geeta keep the viewers glued to the show…

    I want Rahilji & Cezanne to be a good team Player for Success

    I knew Rahilji must have bagged Dharamji''s Role .. will do perfect justice ..Dharamji is versatile ..has maintained his standard thruout his career..Rahilji is down to earth like him ..I trust in him fully ..

    I just want him to dress well not like a poor man ..these days the Basti boys are all into style..Current gen is all abt outer looks.. all his fans are intoday..plz wear good clothes ..styles.. to keep his fans happy kyunki ..Fans unhain pyaar bhari nazron se niharte rehte hain kyunki unkaa haal deewano jaisa hai..

    Cezanne Khan seems like a good man..had few glimpses of him in Elas..has the personna & flavor of Sanjivji ..will do full justice to the role ..

    Have a feeling .. they will get along ..insecurities R destroying shows ..

    Both have their share of fans following them ..
    I wish both of them the very best.. Hope their team spirit works out towards super success..so we can see them together in many many serials..don''t know much abt cezanne..so cannot praise any of his qualities.. hoping he''s a good man..

    I thought also taht this soap had another title! hmm i want Mouni but all the best to this girl! Yay Rahil & Cezanne thats interesting i well see the first episodes to see how this show is!!! all the best to everyone! its great that ndtv imagine makes more soaps heehhe all the best!!
