It cannot get any better for all the 'Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka' fans. A while ago, there were rumors about the Kinshuk Vaidya-Shivya Pathania show going off-air by January and they were even confirmed by the cast.

However, the show has a decent popularity online and the fans were demanding the show to stay on-air. This wasn't a first for Sony TV as the channel faced a similar situation with the Namik Paul-Nikita Dutta starrer, 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' which went off-air abruptly.

However, history did not repeat itself, thankfully for 'Ek Rishta..' as the fight has finally paid off.

According to a leading news portal, 'Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka' has got an extension owing to an improvement in ratings. And that is not just any extension, where it has been gifted 3 months extra straight.

Yes! That's right. After much hullabaloo, the show finally got the reward and the fans could not have been happier.

We wish the cast loads of congratulations!!

Like anyother fan I love the lead pair but the real catch for me is the portrayal of other characters & their relationships. The characters are realistic. For example Viren realised that Sethia's needed time to get over the humiliation they faced at wedding, hence he remained optimistic that things would be back to normal. But when he saw the trials his daughter had to go through, he snapped. Kussum is another character who is not prone to hysterics and drama, she has handled every situation with dignity. She had the presence of mind to see beyond the misunderstandings. Sanchi-Priyanka relationship is also a treat to watch.

That is why I want this show to continue. The Indian joint family set-up is weakening under the pressures of today's lifestyle and this show gives a glimpse of what it is like to live in a joint family. And frankly after the social media bullying and lack of tolerance prevailing in the country, it's relaxing to watch a Barjatya movie/show.

While I am happy for this show and it's fans, I am still so mad at Sony for not giving an extension to EDKV which still had unexplored tracks and could have done a good 2 months of Shravan-Sumo marriage.EDKV was an amazing show. Still miss it! :(

Its bcz of ERSK Team & fans hard work.
Fans worked hard for beautiful show where cast &crew giving their Best working for fans ,and literally compels fans to love fall in love with ArChi.
