The headline would have certainly got your eyes popped and jaw dropped. Yes! That's absolutely right. Actor Parth Samthaan, who became a sensation due to his show, 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan' has been off the TV screens for over a year now.

The actor has been working on his film and that has kept him away from the small screen. However, it is nothing but a ray of hope for all the Parth fans out there, as according to a leading news portal, Parth Samthaan may indeed make a COMEBACK on television.

Star Plus, who has an array of shows set to be presented has decided to make another one-of-kind spectacle consisting of only 26 episodes.

And it is set to star actor, Parth Samthaan as the male lead, while the female lead is supposed to be portrayed by actress-dancer, Mukti Mohan.

The storyline goes as Mukti will be playing a mute girl who wants to take up dancing as a profession, but will be facing several challenges on the road to it. Amidst this, she will also be tackling her relationship with her mother. The entry of Parth's character will change her life.

The role of the mother may be played by actress, Gautami Kapoor. And the show will also have a negative lead, portrayed by actress Nalini Negi.

We contacted Parth, who said, "I am not willing to comment anything on this currently."

Well, we hope Parth makes up his mind as the fans would love to see him on-screen once again, right?

If Parth wants to do this show, I am so with him!!
Thank goodness it is a finite series of just 26 episodes!! If it wasn't finite, Parth wouldn't do it.. Star plus and their shows.. *no comments*
