There have been singing competitions, there have been dance reality shows, and there have been comedy shows, but never before on Indian television has there been a show which is a combination of all three. Come Sunday, the 2nd of November, popular Hindi General Entertainment Channel 9X will launch Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 - a mega talent hunt featuring a galaxy of stars, celebrity judges and popular hosts in a show that is an engrossing blend of song, dance and comedy.

Starting Sunday, the 2nd of November, Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 will air every Sunday at 9 pm on 9X. The show will bring together -- as four opposing captains --  Mika, Rakhi Sawant, Shakti Kapoor and shweta-tiwari/" title="Shweta Tiwari">Shweta Tiwari, and will be hosted by versatile actor Ali Asgar and popular TV star Divyanka Tripathi. The celebrity judges on the show will be gorgeous Bollywood actor Mahima Choudhry, and celebrated Director-Actor Satish Kaushik">Satish Kaushik.

Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 will also feature 12 popular TV stars, who will be divided in three talent pools of Singing, Dancing and Comedy. Twinkle Bajpai, Amit Tandon, Sandeep Acharya and Rajeshwari Sachdeva comprise the Singing pool, while Khayali, Kashmira Shah, Krushna Abhishek and Joshi">Purbi Joshi form the Comedy pool and Tanaz and Bhaktiar Irani and Gaurav Khanna">Gaurav Khanna and Shubhangi Atre will hold the Dancing flag high.

The Captains will choose their respective teams from the talent pool of these 12 celebrities after successful bidding, and will lead them in their bid for the JALWA title. 

Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 brings together the fun and frolic of a song-n-dance show along with edge-of-the-seat excitement and the surprise element of bidding for the team. Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 as a format will encourage blatant trading of team members by their captains, which will add a fascinating twist to the show.

Ace director and actor Satish Kaushik">Satish Kaushik, who is the second celebrity judge on the show, said, “The format of Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 demands that each captain nominate one member from his team -- whoever is the weakest link in his team -- to the transfer window. There will be fresh bidding amongst the rival captains, who will want to ensure that they get the strongest contestants, so there will be a constant change in the team. This will bring into play the complete gamut of group dynamics, bonding, back stabbing strategizing, attrition and much more. It will be reality in a never-before sense.”
