With Rajan Shahi’s next ‘Yeh Rishtha Kya Kehlata Hai’ hitting the floors recently, there were many new as well as known faces that auditioned for pivotal roles in the show.

According to our source, “This new Star Plus show will see the emergence of many new faces, but amongst these faces also seen will be Lataa Saberwal and Sanjiv Seth”. “Sanjiv Seth, who was earlier seen in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki will play father to the female lead while Lataa who is seen in Sahara One’s Ghar Ek Sapna will play mother to the lead girl”, adds our source.

The show, which will depict the journey of two families and their relationship intermixed with a love story, is expected to start next month. The promos of the show are already on and the cast and crew are busy shooting in Udaipur.

If sources are to be believed, Yeh Rishtha... might occupy the 9.30 pm slot, as the one hour extension given to Bidaai is only for a certain time frame.

We tried contacting Rajan Shahi for a confirmation on the actors, but could not get thro’ to him. Lataa Saberwal and Sanjeev Seth were not available for comments either.

We hope ‘Yeh Rishtha..’ proves to be the perfect second innings to Rajan Shahi after Bidaai…
