Recently it was reported that Sony's Waqt is soon going off air... But now it has got yet another extension and to add to the spice, there will be two new entries happening!!!

Recently it was reported that Waqt Batayega Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya on Sony is going off air. The reason being low TRP's, but now here comes some good news for its viewers. The show has got an extension. We called up Payal Sarkar to know more.

“Recently the channel and production house had a meeting where it was decided that Waqt will get five months extension,” says Payal aka Rudra.

Elaborating on the story track she says, “There will be few new entries in the show. Psychiatrist Anushka (Shreya) will be entering the show to help me out. The members of the family think that Rudra has some psychological problem and thus Anushka will cure her. There is another new entrant Atishree Sarkar aka Shakuntala, love of Saurabh (Sachin Shroff) in his previous birth.”

Speaking about the future track, she says “Anushka who happens to be Saurabh's friend was in love earlier. When she arrives here initially I become bit uncomfortable but later realize that she is here to help me”.

“Whereas Shakuntala is an unsatisfied soul who is trying to separate Rudra and Saurabh. The horror track will be there, but the story will also focus on other characters too,” she adds further.

We hope this change is able to save the show and raise the TRP.!! For now Waqt ka naya waqt shuru…
