Rakshak Sahni popularly known for his roles in 'Kkavyanjali' and 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' on Star Plus is all set to make his own Hollywood film.

After he shot up to fame in the Indian Television industry, Rakshak Sahni moved to Hollywood. He has been seen in films like My Indian Boyfriend's Mother, You Can't Curry Love, and Excuses Girls Make. His love and passion for cinema led him to start his own production house in California called Salt Vinegar Films.

In lieu of the Oscar's whitewashing controversy, many stars in Hollywood have been speaking up about racial profiling as a routine practice. India's own Rakshak Sahni having experienced this first hand has decided to take this one step further by making a movie on it called 'CHANGE the film' which throws light on the struggles that different ethnic minority actors and women face on a day to day basis in Hollywood.

Actor Rakshak Sahni says, "I always had a dream to come to Hollywood and become an Actor, but after moving here I realized that the only roles for Indians are as Doctors, IT Engineers, Call Center Employee, Taxi Driver, or 7-11 clerk. With a population of 1.3 Billion people, all of us do not fit the Indian stereotype, and Hollywood does not see us other than the Indian Stereotypes, therefore, motivating me to make "CHANGE the Film".

Elaborating on the film, he adds, "CHANGE the Film" does not only talk about what Indians go through in Hollywood, also to appeal to International Audiences we have included the stories of other minorities and also women."

The movie stars him and Prashant Raj, who was seen in Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag and Toss.
