Bobby Bedi’s Mahabharat that is to be telecasted on Star Plus is definitely on a role with its cast. After revealing that Nirmal Pandey will be playing Bheesma Pitaama, Telly Buzz gives you yet another news that the chocolate faced boy, Gagan Malik, of Kumkum and Saath Saath fame, will play the character of Krishna.
Confirming the same Gagan says, “I am playing the role of Krishna. It’s a big challenge for me to play this role, and I have been attending workshops and getting to know more about the character in the past few months.” Talking more on the manner in which Bobby Bedi has planned this epic, Gagan quips “The graphics put into the epic is very interesting. The viewers will be able to relate more to the epic as it is relates much more to today’s era.”
Gagan will start shooting for the Star Plus show before the end of October. With his afternoon soap on Zee, Saath Saath, going off air on 31st of this month, the actor will concentrate more on playing Krishna.
Apart from Mahabharat Gagan will also be seen in a Bollywood
movie, ‘Poison’ which is due for a December release. “The movie is on the lines
of the thriller, Johny Gaddar, where I play a struggling music director”,
states the actor. The movie will see a new face Priyal, along with popular
faces like Mukul Dev, Aman Verma, Anju Mahendroo and Deepak Parashar.
The cute actor might also be seen in Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s 'Upanishad', wherein he will be part of an episodic. “I have been approached to play a role, but nothing is finalized as yet”, says Gagan as he signs off.
For now, it seems like Gagan will get busy playing the cute and adorable Krishn!!
