All the Best-Indian Contingent to Olympic!

The Olympics, dream of every player to make his/her country proud is about to begin!! Let's join in and wish our Players in their hunt to medals.

One World-One Dream!
 
The biggest sporting extravaganza is about to begin today, The Olympics which symbolizes spirit , sportsmanship and brotherhood. In 1896, the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in Athens. With 110,000 security personnel, 74 planes, 47 helicopters and 33 naval vessels on patrol in the city and its suburbs, the "Bird's Nest" stadium will host the Olympic opening ceremony.
 
While the whole world is expecting a marvelous event, and we are looking forward to a better result from our Contingent to the Olympic. So who would you think would strike Gold this time in this Gold fest! Manjeet Singh Sandhu, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore or Anjali Bhagwat in Shooting?, Akhil Kumar the Gold Medalist of commonwealth games in Boxing?, Anju Bobby George in Long jump ? or our Indian Express, the duo of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati in Tennis! Hopes are high, expectations are towering!
 
So Let's take this moment and wish the Indian Contingent all the very Best, let them know that more than 1 billion of Indians and million others from across the world are rooting for them, so as the stars from Small screen!

Number of medals India would bring home this time: Well, I guess we will bring home 5 medals..

Events/Players expectant of getting medals this Olympics: Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Leander should do well in Shooting and Tennis respectively!

Your Message to the Indian Contingent to Olympics: There are not enough infrastructures to fund in our country; let’s turn in around and win medals so that the Government would want to look at us.



Manwa Naik:

Number of medals India would bring home this time: I think we need to get at least 3-4 this time. But the biggest disappointment is that our hockey team did not make it! But yes, Sania is there..

Events/Players expectant of getting medals this Olympics: Shooting, tennis and weight lifting are the best bets according to me!

Your Message to the Indian Contingent to Olympics: We participating in Olympics in it self is a big pride. I am not worried about winning and losing. I wish all the contestants best of luck..


Vikas Sethi:

Number of medals India would bring home this time: Well, we have to do well this time. But I would say we might get 1-2 medals.

Events/Players expectant of getting medals this Olympics: Of course, Rajvardhan Singh Rathore, Sanai and Leander should make the country proud.

Your Message to the Indian Contingent to Olympics: You have a goal in sight, so focus on it and achieve it!!


Roshni Chopra:

Number of medals India would bring home this time: Last time India could win only two bronze and one silver and this time I expect India to win at least two silvers and one gold and much more.

Events/Players expectant of getting medals this Olympics: It has to be shooting and women’s weight lifting.

Your Message to the Indian Contingent to Olympics: I just want to wish our contingent all the very best. Hope they do their best and make India proud.

Varun Badola:

Number of medals India would bring home this time: Every time we speculate to get many medals but never end up getting more than one. This time I feel all are performing well and I think we can expect more than five medals.

Events/Players expectant of getting medals this Olympics: Anju George should be amongst the top medal contenders; beyond that I cannot predict anything!

Your Message to the Indian Contingent to Olympics: Wining or losing is not important, but to make it to Olympics is the goal..
 

Jennifer Winget:

Number of medals India would bring home this time: I wish and pray we win medals in every event we participate.

Events/Players expectant of getting medals this Olympics: I am not a sports person at all, so have no idea. Sorry for this!!

Your Message to the Indian Contingent to Olympics: All the best to all the contestants; we know that they are under pressure to deliver. Give your best shot and make our country proud.



Ali Asgar:

Number of medals India would bring home this time: I really do not know the events that India will be taking part in. I expect 20 medals from India this time.

Events/Players expectant of getting medals this Olympics: We should be doing well in weight lifting and shooting. Btu frankly speaking, Cricket is so much into our system that we don’t have the mindset to know more on the Olympics..

Your Message to the Indian Contingent to Olympics: It’s a very big event and I feel the participants have a huge opportunity to do something for our country. I think representing India in a game is a very big achievement and all my wishes to the contingent to give their 100% in the task ahead.
