SAB TV going the 'Comedy' Way!!

Here is good news for one and all as from June 30th, SAB TV will be offering 24*7 Comedy and Entertainment to the viewers...


SAB TV, the youth centric channel will now go the ‘Comedy Way’ and offer 24*7 entertainment to the viewers!! Unleashing this new surprise is Anooj Kapoor, Business Head, SAB TV who says, “Yes, our new Mantra from June 30th will be ‘Comedy’ and one of the reasons for this change is based on the fact that the comedy-based programs on SAB have always enthralled the viewers. Secondly, we want to cater to the audience something unique and different from what other channels give”.

So which are the shows on which the channel banks on now? “Well, we plan to repair the damages that have been caused due to an overdose of Saas-bahu sagas. We will be launching some family-oriented comedy shows where the female protagonists will bring out the positive elements of Indian society. One such show in the pipeline is ‘Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Is Ghar Ki’”, avers Anooj Kapoor.

So will Left Right Left be the odd-one out when it comes to the comic values introduced? “No, Left Right Left will not be an exception; we are continuously adding a flavor of comedy in the show and if people like it, then we will surely add up more”, says Anooj.

When asked about the serial to replace Jersey No 10 which will be going off air on June 23rd, he says, “The slot of Jersey No 10 will be taken over by ‘Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Is Ghar Ki’”. Lo Ho Gayi… will be a family-oriented comedy show based on three generations and will star Tanaaz Currim, Sana Saeed, Rohini Hattangadi. Also, the channel SAB has taken up rights to air some of the international comedy shows like Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy etc.

Lastly, are there any plans to come up with reality shows? “Yes, we are planning to start few funny game shows and comedy-based reality shows”, says Anooj Kapoor before signing off.

    The promo of Pooja show is god. Jersy coming to an end it was a gr8 show. Finally rjun-Nakul enemity ends!!
