Amrita Singh, the manipulative mother, Nitya Nanda of Kavyanjali, returns to television after a hiatus. The actor, a popular face in hindi cinema, will now be seen playing a mentor’s role in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming reality show Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket, along with ace director Mahesh Manjrekar on 9X.

A well-placed source says, “Amrita Singh and Mahesh Manjrekar will be seen playing the roles of mentors in the reality show. The show has celebrities and lay people coupled. These couples will be seen performing every week, acting and dancing. The show will have one couple eliminated every week leaving the final winner, who will get an opportunity to work in a Hindi movie made by Ekta Kapoor and Apoorva Lakhia. Both the judges will be in charge of different zones.”

We, must say, Ekta Kapoor leaves no stone unturned when it comes to attracting the audience to her shows.
