As the very popular serial on Zee, Kasamh Se takes a 16 year leap all the characters will sport a new look.

Gurdeep Kohli, the new Bani will be seen in a totally different avtar. “My entry will be same as Bani but later on as the leap takes place, I will be seen wearing shiffon saris with a rich look to it. Other than that, I am not sporting a typical juda or a knot to show that I have grown old”, quips Gurdeep Kohli.

Playing Bani and Jai Walia’s daughter Ganga will be Priya Bathija of Khwaish fame. The little Ganga, who survived the scare of cancer after her mother Bani’s presumed death, has now grown into a very beautiful yet simple girl. “In one word, I can describe Ganga as the second Bani”, quips Priya who is very excited to have got this role. Adding further, the actress says, “Ganga is very simple, and dresses just like Bani with simple make-up and salwars”.

Well, now coming to the biggest makeover of all, of Ram Kapoor">Ram Kapoor aka Jai Walia!! Going against the norm seen in serials, Ram will adorn a very aged look with a salt pepper hair and will walk with the aid of a stick. Telly Buzz team talked to Rishi, EP of Kasamh Se who elaborated on this saying, “Jai will be seen wearing dark color suits and will sport a stick in hand. He will also wear the age-old watch, something like the Gandhi watch with a small round dice and a gold chain attached to that which is usually placed inside the pocket of the suit”.

Priya who plays Jai Walia’s doting daughter Ganga aptly summed up her father’s character as she said, “He is an old man with lots of attitude”.
