Comedian Kapil Sharma has gained immense popularity for his comic
timing in the show Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors. Currently the comedy king is riding high with the show's popularity and bagging a film in his kitty.
After much of speculations, Kapil Sharma confirmed to be doing YRF's film Bank Chor. He had signed a three film deal under YRF's banner. Thus to get into the skin of the character Kapil even lost the weight and toned down his body a bit to look perfect on screen. Kapil even started shooting for his film.
Due to Kapil's commitments for the film, there were
reports that his show Comedy Nights with Kapil will be aired once in a week instead
of two days for which channel rejected his plea. Even we had reported that the show Comedy Nights... is
going off air in September because of his film commitments.
But destiny had some other plans for Kapil who will no longer be a part of the film Bank Chor. Yes it is very much confirmed and YRF too announced it officially that Kapil will no more be a part of the film Bank Chor, however, it is yet to be confirmed whether he is out from all the three films or only from one film.
We got in touch with Kapil's spokesperson who told us, "I am not sure whether he has quit the film or not because he did attend the meeting couple of days back but he didn't tell us about his decision of quitting the film. Yes that's true that there are date issues because he was shooting for his show. I guess the shoot must have been postponed and he might have not made an exit from the film. Rest I can tell you after talking to Kapil as right now he is in his shoot."
TellyBuzz wishes Kapil Sharma all the best!

@Ashirania I am not against the TV stars making progress... I am just saying they look misfit - and that is the truth! I can not imagine Kapil doing a romantic lead at all... At most he will get roles of comic touch which never really are the conventional bollywood hero so to say... Then what is he expecting from bollywood really? What future does he see for himself there? Maybe 3-4 films here and there as a comic actor... My point was that he is the SRK of TV right now... Why does he want to become a side actor of bollywood instead? He rules the TV... I love his work... I dont want to see him ruin it...

Keep saying "..Yes thats true.." is weird. I noticed a lot of Indian broadcasting news channel journalists or newscasters talk like that.. its really weird. o_O just be normal.. put the news across, and you dont have to 'act the reaction' for us! :P
@swetha.. oh really..? was he Successfull/Popular in Tv..? i never ever heard wat show he was doing on tv.. jst know dat he hav done tv.. Rofl
I said i dont hav any problem if Tv stars come in BW Only if they r not doing tv anymore OR their shows r not Hit.. bt wen their shows r successfull nd running (4rm which they get lot of popularity, fame nd recognition) den they should'nt opt out of it jst to come in a secondary lead or in some B grade movie as a lead chracter.. it shows dat they r really desperate to come into movies dat they dont care abt Tv anymore (which made dem) as they got some role in a movie! Wow! bt wen they fall they come back to da same tv bt not able to create da same charm which they created in thier old shows (4rm which they opted out to come into movies) so they loose their stronghold on tv too jst like smallwonder said!! if u r successfull den its better to stick to tv rather den doing stupid roles in movies nd making a fool of urself!
@swetha.. i'v given some examples too in my 1st comment if u still did'nt get it !!

@smallwonder can you imagine how difficult working in the tv industry is compared to bw? And the money? If you get a chance to get promoted, will you just reject it like that because you are scared you will fail? Or will you take it and give it your best shot? Bw actors work a couple of months a year, while tv actors slog 13+ hours A day... And the fame of silver screen is more than tv will ever be. Just because most don't make it big doesn't mean everyone should give up. That's like saying don't try anything new because only a few will get it right. Let people aim for the stars, just because a million people miss doesnt mean that the one person who might hit the mark shouldn't try.
@Samraat_92 well then what about SRK who came into movies from tv serial? U think he made a mistake?
Every person has the freedom to chose what they want, but tell me one thing.. if you say they should not run after fame like this then tell me why they should stay back? To maintain their fame gained thru tv? :/

@smallwander.. i totally agree with dis statement" "They are doing great as it is, why do they run after films, thereby loosing even their stronghold on TV"
Exactly.. really dont get it y most of da Tv stars r so much desperate to come into movies when they r doing so much good in TV.. Recently Ram kapoor, also left his serial BALH (which made him) to come into movies nd den most of da time his body doubles wer used in da serial.. nd many more examples like Barun Sobti, KSG, Amar Upadhyay.. Tv stars should really stop their lust to come into movies.. its okay if u r not doing any show nd u get a good role in a film nd u accept it bt to leave da shows suddenly (which was their bread nd butter nd 4rm which they got fame nd recognition) jst to get into some 2nd lead chracter OR playing a lead in a B grade movie shows dat how much desperate u r ! Most Successfull Tv actors hav always failed in BW !!

I think its a great decision, who ever's it is! I really dont understand the craze for bollywood amongst the TV stars... They are doing great as it is, why do they run after films, thereby loosing even their stronghold on TV... I also feel, it rarely works when a TV actor does a film, at most he will be a second lead... Even if he is the first lead, they never look fit... While in their own domain of TV, no one can match them! So please stop this lust for films, TV is as good...
