Balaji Telefilms' popular
historical show Jodha Akbar on Zee TV has been appreciated a lot and applauded by the viewers for depicting the love story of Jodha (Paridhi
Sharma) and Akbar (Rajat Tokas) along with historical facts well in the show.
On the occasion of completing one
magnificent year we contacted the actors of the show to know about their
journey and experience throughout the show.
Let's see what they have to say.
Gorgeous Paridhi Sharma portraying the character of princess Jodha in the show shares her experience and says, "It's an amazing journey and still it's a long way to go. I have experienced failure at the same time success in this show so it's been a roller coaster ride for me. I had hard time in the show at the start and faced difficulty but got a lot to learn in the show. Coming to my character Jodha I am quite similar to her in emotional sense but for the stunts to portray my character well and justify the character I learn't a lot. It was quite challenging in the beginning. Now it's a pleasure to be a part of such amazing show. And lastly I would give a big thanks to all my lovely fans for supporting and loving us. Their comments on the forums reach to me and I read it with full heart which helps me to come out whenever I feel de-motivated. Their efforts are appreciable and commendable."
Beautiful Lavina Tandon portraying the character of Ruqaiya Begum says, "It was difficult first day as it was a new show and a new character. We have a good director but at times I am scared of him as he wants everything perfect. I took a week to get in the character. My all the co-stars are very motivated even my creative Shalu Ma'am very supportive which all motivated me. It was very difficult at the start as I use to fumble a lot and all the staff use to get scare of me as they knew I would take lot of retakes and so I had to prove myself and now I can say the staff is happy when I am on shoot (laughs). I can say now I have proven myself as have achieved Gold awards for supporting actor and I am very proud to play such character. My director is like Actors-Director he gives full freedom to think what will be good for owns character and allow what you want to do. I am lucky to have such show."
Versatile Ashwini Kalsekar portraying the character of Mahamanga says, "It has been a beautiful journey, I met new people and got new friends. I am just enjoying from one year, I like my character I got to learn an altogether different language Urdu, I have such costume which looks like easy but it's very difficult to shoot in the scorching heat and I feel suffocated as I have long dialogues so it's challenging but at the same time I am happy as its my first historical show where I got to play such an amazing role. I had come before in Ek Veer Stree ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani but it was cameo which got over within7-8days. Jodha Akbar is not a normal show we get our lot of time invest here as travelling only takes 2-3hours and shoot goes upto 12-15hours. So there is lot to learn and I am enjoying with the show. I would ask my fans to keep watching us and encouraging our hard work which helps us to work harder."
Chetan Hansraj portraying the character of Adam Khan says, "I had an amazing time in the show its been long time and I am happy shooting everyday. The cast and crew of the show are very supportive. It was hard in the beginning but i got a lot of appreciation for this show. Talking about my character is superb playing negative character like this is fun. I would like my fans to love the way they are doing."
