Actor Rakesh Deewana who had won hearts with his jovial character in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has passed away in Indore post a surgery.

Actor Rakesh Deewana who had won hearts with his jovial character in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has passed away in Indore post a surgery. Deewana was playing the fun loving Maharaj Ji in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is also well remembered as Ramayan's Kumbhkaranh, TMKOC's Dr.Hathi's brother, Alif Laila's Jeanie like Serials and films like Veer and Double Dhamaal.

The actor we hear was going through a Boriatrick Surgery to reduce fat and weight in his body. Unfortunately, due to complications the actor passed away a few days after the surgery.

Can't imagine not seeing him on YRKKH everyday. He was perfect as Maharaj Ji!
