Last seen as a good cook on-screen, handsome actor Arjun Bijlani remembered as Aditya of Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar has recently shot for a short movie. Arjun will be soon seen portraying a different character in Vandana Sajnani Khattar's upcoming short film Caught in the web.
TellyBuzz spoke to Arjun to know more about this short film and his character in detail.
Talking about the movie and his character, Arjun told TellyBuzz, "The movie is all about how sometimes people are misled and misguided on the web by uploading wrong files, chatting, recording or making morphed pictures which could be dangerous and harmful. With this movie, we are just trying to make people aware of such things. How the life of this guy changed after certain incidents and every character's life changes in the short film; that's what the short film is all about. It's the web because they are connected and it's 'Caught in the web' because its means internet. So, the title has two meanings."
He says that he is playing the central character in the short film however, his is a neutral character, "I am playing the character of Karan in the short film and the story will revolve around his life as how his life gets affected because of chatting and what happens in his life after that. The character is not positive but at the same time he is not negative also; the character is all about something which happens in today's world. The character played by me in this movie is very different; it's not the typical Arjun Bijlani but it's totally different that people will be shocked to see. As an actor, I thought of taking up this character and Vandana Sajnani is a good friend and when she offered me this role, I said a Yes' to her."
Arjun has worked with actress Sana Saeed in this short film. When asked Arjun about his experience of working with her, he added, "My experience of working with Sana Saaeed was good. She is nice, sweet and a hard working girl. We had lots of fun on the sets while shooting."
This is not the first time that Arjun is working in the short film but earlier also he has acted in a short film titled as I Guess. He says that this character was more challenging than the previous one. When asked Arjun on the same, he said, "It depends on the type of short film I am doing; I have never played this character before. It was a challenge for me, as I needed to think before as how to portray this character as I needed to look like a bad guy and talk like that. I thought over it and Vandana helped me, we discussed and started working together."
Lastly we also asked Arjun about his views on such incidents which are inevitable and which do happen on regular basis. Arjun told us, "We keep hearing in the news and read in the newspapers that it has happened with some actors also, about their pictures or videos being released. It's a very sad thing which happens as their personal life suddenly comes out in open. In today's time, people have just started uploading things without even thinking that it might affect somebody's life. People have become very emotion less and insensitive about these things that they just take all this as fun and do such acts. People should keep a check on what they are uploading and how it's going to affect somebody's life. There should be very strict rule made by the government to monitor such things and there should be some control on such people."
Way to go Arjun!
