The talented child actress Mehnaz Maan has won the heart of viewers with her spectacular performances in the talent search Indian reality show India's Best Dramebaaz meant for the young talented kids in India. Mehnaz makes her debut in the television industry with Deeya and Tony Singh's DJ's Production's upcoming show Ek Muthi Aasman on Zee TV.
On the same we got in touch with this cute actress who shares with TellyBuzz on how exciting it is for her to shoot with senior actors, her experience shooting for a daily soap, her love for acting and much more.
Mehnaz is pleased to work with senior actors in the show Ek Muthi Aasman and she says, "Getting to share a screen space with talented senior actors is a honor and I also get to learn a lot from them which is helping me in my acting career. As much as I have shot for the show, I have found it very interesting and I am enjoying working in the show."
Mehnaz's dream has come true as acting was her hobby that has turned into a profession now, "I was very much interested in acting. My mother had enrolled me in the acting class and from there I gave the audition for India's Best Dramebaaz. I did not have any hopes that I would clear so many rounds in the show India's Best Dramebaaz. It was a superb show which improved my acting skills and groomed me for the upcoming show. The show Ek Muthi Aasman is a very nice platform for me to portray my talent."
Her favorite judge on the show India's Best Dramebaaz who helped her improve on her acting skills? "My favorite judge on India's Best Dramebaaz was Anurag Basu. He used to give me useful tips and used to direct me on improving myself as an actor."
She had the confidence to shoot with the senior actors without getting scared or nervous, "I was very much confident when I started the shoot for the show Ek Muthi Aasman. I was not nervous at all that I am shooting with such senior actors. Shilpaji has been really sweet to me and also helped me throughout my shoot. We have bonded really well. Shilpaji is like my mother, sister and friend on the sets (smiles)."
Mehnaz is thrilled to shoot with actor Aashish Chaudhary, "Till now I haven't started shooting with Aashish Chaudhary. But I am looking forward to shoot with him."
She does not let her studies get hampered because of her shooting schedule, "My studies don't get hampered due to my work at all. I carry my books on the sets and whenever I get free time between the shots, I see to it that I complete my homework."
The 9 year kid is thankful to her school that has been very co-operative with her acting career, "Currently my school is in Chandigarh and they have been very co-operative adjusting my academics with my acting career. Soon next year we are going to be shifting to Mumbai and then I will not have to miss my school much."
So is Mehnaz ready to act in daily soaps in future if she gets good opportunity? "In future, if I get offers to act in daily soaps than I would be very happy to take them up as I love acting."
As much as she has entertained the audience with her performances on the reality show India's Best Dramebaaz will she be able to impress the viewers with her performance in Ek Muthi Aasman?
