The very charming and talented Kinshuk Mahajan has been roped in for a Telegu movie. Produced by TV9 Productions, the triangular love story will also star Kritika (main lead), a model from Mumbai and some big names like Nara Rohit.
When questioned, how did he bag a Telegu movie Kinshuk says, "It just happened all of a sudden. The production house felt that my looks matched to those of a South Indian actor, who possesses sharp features. So just after my show Afsar Bitiya came to an end, this project came my way and thus I happily welcomed it."
A Punjabi by birth, Kinshuk talks further to TellyBuzz about the know-how of his new assignment. He says, "Since the movie is Telegu based, language was a problem initially. But the production house has been very flexible and considerate with me. Firstly, they explained to me the meaning of each and every dialogue and also translated it in English. For our master shots; I have been given the liberty to speak my dialogues in Hindi. It's only during the close up shots that I have to become skilled at the dialogues in Telegu."
"The entire movie is being shot in Hyderabad at Ramoji Rao Film City, except for a few songs that will be shot abroad in the last schedule. Since this is my first time at Ramoji Rao, the massive place has left me thrilled. It's just amazing!"
Talking about the differences between television and film industry, Kinshuk explains that, "Television & Films are two different things. A daily soap TV actor works for a definite 12 hour shift whereas on the other hand, films follow an easy attitude. On a daily basis, we shoot for 1-2 scenes that accounts for almost 2-3 mins of footage. The working style here is very professional and everybody is very grounded by nature. No matter what, nobody works on a Sunday. And we also follow a compulsory 1 hour's lunch break peacefully."
Many actors consider their stint in the southern film industry as a launch-pad for Bollywood. But our very own Kinshuk Mahan says that he is open to good work, irrespective of the medium. The actor also adds, 'Television has been my first love. And I will make a come-back as soon as I find something interesting coming up."
When asked if Kinshuk would be keen to be a part of a reality show, he says, "I would take up a reality show that showcases an actor's talent, like a dance reality show, rather than something like Bigg Boss that twists the image of an actor, literally."
We at TellyBuzz wish Kinshuk all the good luck, who is very excited and all geared up for his debut film!
