Shweta Sinha, who is playing the character of Pari in Rashmi Sharma Telefilms' popular show Sasural Simar Ka is on cloud 9 today. The actress has turned a year older today and she is elated to celebrate her birthday today with special plans.
TellyBuzz spoke to Shweta to know more about her birthday plans. An elated Shweta told us, "I am shooting today and I have taken a half day off from my shoot so that I can enjoy with my colleagues as well as my family members too. Everyone on the sets is very excited and they have given me a big surprise. Everybody is so humble, loving and cheerful and they sang a birthday song for me. I cut a cake on the sets and after that everybody came and greeted me. I felt very nice and on top of the world. I actually felt like a 'Pari' today (laughs). I will be enjoying with my family after leaving from here and in the evening I will be enjoying with some of my old friends who are coming to my house."
Talking about a perfect birthday she further added, "A perfect birthday according to me is that in which you feel more young and lively and tension free... a day when you forget about the worries of the whole world. This is how I am feeling right now. I am feeling like a princess today. I am on cloud 9 today. Everybody wants to get pampered but due to lack of time in today's world nobody gets that much time but this can happen on your birthday. You get pampered by everyone on your birthday. You are the centre of attraction for everyone and it feels so good. My cheeks are now paining saying thank you to everyone and smiling continuosly (laughs). I wish that my birthday comes every month."
On the sets everyone is making sure that Shweta has a good time, "I am working with such a wonderful team. The Bhardwaaj parivaar in really like a 'parivaar.' We share a very good bonding off-screen as well. Especially my close friends Manish, Snehal, Jyotsna, Ssumeir gave me a nice surprise in the morning. They came with gifts and all and they played a 'Nautanki' for me also as per their plans. It was a very good start to my day (laughs). My director sir Pawanji is a very lovely person and he is taking care of the fact that I should go according to my out time. I am missing Mataji and Nishiji because they have gone out of India and I am missing Khushi too because she is not shooting today."
Shweta is happy to have a working birthday. She says, "I really love working on my birthday because nobody has the time to come and meet you on your birthday except for few close ones. So, I enjoy working at least for half a day so that I can get to meet everyone and this is what I am doing today. So, it's a perfect birthday for me."
Talking about the gifts she has got, she said, "I have got many gifts like fancy purse, tops, set of imported shampoo and conditioners and many other good gifts."
Going down the memory lane she shared about her childhood birthday celebrations with us too. She said, "I used to celebrate my birthday with my family and enjoy with them. I enjoy my birthday more than I used to enjoy during my regular childhood days."
So, has she treated her co-stars on the sets? She said, "I have not treated them yet because some of them are missing on my birthday but, when they will be back, I will treat all of them together for sure."
Thanking her fans for their birthday wishes, she said, "Never feel that you are growing old on your birthday. Leave this thinking and enjoy your birthday to the fullest. Enjoy with the people who are there with you and never forget the people who have always been there with you. This is the only day when you get a lot of attention, so enjoy your birthday."
