Fremantle's new show on Star Plus!

Fremantle Media which usually deals with reality based shows and is the producer of Indian Idol is soon launching a new show with a different genre on Star Plus.

Our source informs us that Fremantle Media is coming up with a show which caters to social issues in the society. The format will be that of an episodic and every week a new social cause will be highlighted.

We also got to know that they shot for a particular sequence which showed the story of a rape case of a girl about to get married. The actors roped in for the first episode are Piyush Chopra, Meetha and Charu Rohatgi. Piyush who was the winner of Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj and was also seen the movie Pyaar Hai toh Keh Do yes and has also done couple of advertisements will don the role of  the protagonist Meetha's brother.

Meetha has earlier been seen in couple of episodes on CID on Sony TV. Meetha's mother will be essayed by Charu Rohatgi a movie actress who was seen playing the mother of Parineeti Chopra in Ishaqzaade has done couple of TV serials too.

We tried calling the actors but none of them were available for comment.
