"I am not playing the same scene. There is something new to look forward to in every scene... there is something more which you can do," Sumit told IANS.
Talking about how he came on board, he said: "I really liked the character. I went through an audition. My character is happy-go-lucky. And I really liked it."
The 32-year-old Delhi guy, who also featured in "12/24 Karol Bagh" and "Mukti Bandhan", among others, says people easily relate to television shows.
"I think most of the time, people relate to the time and situation (shown in a TV show). The reactions and body language might be different, but the rest is the same," he said.
Sumit, also active in theatre, says acting is his passion.
"I have done theatre. I want to perform, it doesn't matter where I do it. But being an actor, this (acting) is my soul. I want to act," said the actor who doesn't have any plans and likes to take things as they come.
"Let me do this first. Then I will see," he said.
