TV show "Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka" will go off air soon. It will be replaced by a new soap which will be set against the background of Punjab.
The new untitled show, to be aired on Colors, is currently being shot at various locations in and around Punjab, including a few historical spots, said a statement from the channel.
"Parichay...", which has had a successful run of almost two years, is based on the story of a fallen hero - Kunal Chopra, essayed by seasoned actor Sameer Soni, and his struggle with his professional career and life.
The other cast members include Aruna Irani, Aarti Singh along with Keerti Nagpure, Prerna Wanwari and Mahesh Shetty.
The show generated interest since its inception due to its unusual storyline around a male protagonist.

Dear Readers,
Why doesn't colors get rid off Uttaran instead of upsetting parichay fans!?!? Everyone hates ut, just check the forum, even ppl watching it r cursing the show for how ghatiya it is! Plz don't do this to parichay fans!

wat wl u say about ur other which does not give high trp instead of so much promotion.
u did not air promo of parichay from last 2 mnths. wen d evrythng is going good u hav decided to end d show

pls IF we beg to give us an interview or an article with sameer soni n we would like to know his views about the show going off air...we fans r eagerly waiting for the reply for the request of parichay season2...pls come back to us n give a positive feed back!

Pls colors do not end Parichay. It is a request by all Parichay and SiNal fans. The main concept of the show has just started and now pulling it off air means there will be no proper ending to the show. We request u to keep Parichay on air with new time slot and proper promotiin.
