Saathi Re fame, Aamir Dalvi will be back in action in a daily soap, in the to-be-launched channel, Zee Next..

Aamir Dalvi, the dutiful son and husband of Star One’s Saathi Re is back to television after a brief hiatus. The onscreen pair of Saathi Re, Aamir Dalvi and Parakh Madan have struck 'Gold' at the same time, with both bagging different projects in the to-be-launched channel, Zee Next. While Parakh Madan will be seen playing an under-cover cop in a Zee Next serial, Aamir Dalvi will be part of a youth-oriented serial, ‘Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar’ in Zee Next.

Talking about the serial, Aamir Dalvi says, “The serial will revolve around 8 central characters, wherein 7 protagonists are college students, and the 8th one, played by me, is an ex-student of the same college.” “I play the character of Victor and own the Café in the university, called 'Victors’. I am the guiding force in the lives of the other 7 boys. We are a group of intellectual people, who are a notch higher than others in the college”, adds Aamir. The serial will introduce a set of new faces to television, and Aamir is glad to be working with the young bunch of talents. “They are all very young, and I feel more energetic,working with them”, says the actor.

Gone are the days of kurtas and pyjamas, Aamir will be seen clad in jeans, jackets and heavy boots. Talking about his classy look in the serial, Aamir quips, “The role of a college-guy has been my dream role, and I am happy to have got it. Victor is not like Rajeev in Saathi Re, he has more class and style; my beard is off, my hairstyle is much longer, and my costumes are peppy, and I will be seen in jeans and jackets”, says a very thrilled Aamir. While bikes and cars happen to be the recent craze of college-goers, Aamir in this serial will sport a totally different interest. “I will be seen paragliding”, says Aamir as he signs off.
