i think leap shud b brought only in those shows where its necessary like where protaganists story started from their childhood bcoz their story is abt the joruney of that protaganist from childhood 2 adulthood. but if story has cum 2 the satuartn pt. then it shud b ended. better 2 end rather than drag & bore the viewers.
all the shows mentioned here lost their freshness after leap. and i'd watched all these shows except PR.
In UT 1st leap was necessary from kids 2 adult but the 2nd leap showing their grown-up kids is totally crap & drag. i watched YRKKH in initial few months but this show is biggest crap.i stopped watching parichay after leap tho sumtimes while surfing channels catch sum scenes & it has really bcum crap.it used 2 b among my fav. shows.and its going the same crappy way which usually ekta's show go.
i think hitler didi is still gud as i watch it on & off & catches few epis.

leap definetly bring freshness in the story...we are hooked to it only for the charecters becoz of our fav actor acting in it n we want to see them daily...whether leap or no leap there is no logic in the story n we cannot expect also in these mega serials...i always feel parichay is anyday better serial as it has atleast fantastic casts, especially mr.sameer soni...we will always remember this charecter for ever

parichay turned to worst after the leap...they should have just end it preleap bt i think ekta and her moron cv's are competing in the guinness world record for worst show on indian television and no doubt they hav already set the record...Samir Soni gives encouraging interviews bt he seems to forget that his own show is just so crappy that the audience are feeling deceited by his interviews...

I think along with "same characters" and "new situations", Samir forgot to add "recycled storyline" and "crap twists" in Parichay's case. The senseless leap in this show only achieved one thing and that is irritating the audience. The new characters in the show turned out to be extremely annoying and creepy, the addition of kids did nothing but bore the audience out of their minds, and despite sitting through all this garbage that was called the "leap", the audience ultimately got nothing but sheer disappointment. And pray tell me, how is the current physical abuse of the female lead bringing any freshness to the stupid show? Sadly for Parichay, the leap did not bring anything to keep the viewers hooked and the only thing that did hold the audiences interest before and after the leap is being butchered.
