Hype around 'Talaash' proof it's well-promoted: Aamir

Low key promotions for "Talaash" have worked in its favour, the movie's lead actor Aamir Khan believes. He says the hype around the film shows it has been marketed well.

"I think what we had planned for the marketing was a good plan and we have moved according to the plan," the 47 year old said here Thursday at a special screening of the film.

"Now when the film releases, the hype that I see around the film indicates that the hype is not low it is very high actually. I am very happy with the promotions," he added.

As part of the promotions, Aamir made an appearance on TV show "CID" and also on a Star Plus special.

"Both ideas were mine. 'CID' also and the interaction with Star Parivaar. I really enjoyed talking to them," Aamir said.

    Was waiting for this movie to release since May... Can't wait I see it... Samir's movies rock... And yes please donot read the comments on Times of Indi review, a few spoilsports have given away the murderer... But that won't stope me from seeing the movie...

    Spoilsports will be tweeting about who the murderer is..

    Aamir should release the movie with 3 or different ending at various cinemas so moviegoers will find different murderer from one cinema to another, this way people will be kept in suspense!

    Cinema halls can keep changing the reels at every showtime...

    THIS WAY PEOPLE MAY GO 3 OR 4 TIMES TO SEE ALL THE DIFFERENT ENDINGS THUS MAKING LOADS AND LOADS OF MONEY FOR THE DISTRIBUTORS!!!!!!!

    Talaash is a good movie but not a great one which we expect from Aamir Khan. Nawazuiddin Siddique was again rocking.It was a psychological thriller rather than crime thriller.
