Mumbai, Oct 30 (IANS) Mean and manipulative Tapasya, who made Ichcha's life hell in TV show "Uttaran", is ready to make a come back in the popular show that will complete 1,000 episodes Wednesday.
The show that went on air December 2008 on Colors has taken two generation-leaps. It started as a story of two girls - slum kid Ichcha and Tapasya, who's born with a silver spoon. It traced the ups and downs their friendship goes through while they grow up together.
The storyline took a 10-year leap forward in 2009 and actors Tina Dutta and Rashmi Desai were introduced as Ichcha and Tapasya, respectively.
After the next generation-leap of 18 years, Tapasya went missing from the show but now the latest promos are hinting at her comeback in the show.
It would be interesting to see the "mean lady" re-entering the show. According to sources, Rashmi is likely to play Tapasya.

Uttaran's the best & my Tina's just awesome. Tina is amazing in playing Icchha & Meethi.
TO UTTARAN HATERS, IF TINA CAN'T ACT THEN SHE WOULDN'T HAVE GOT AWARDS WHICH SHE GOT. AND IF UTTARAN ISN'T LOVED BY THE MASSES THEN UTTARAN WOULDN'T BE CROSSING 1000TH EPISODES LANDMARK WHEN SHOWS ARE TAKEN OFF AIR WITHIN MONTHS.
Missed Rashmi a lot. Excited that she's back also Rocking Rathore's there. I always find Meethi very sweet & adorable. I want more Meethi scenes...

Pleaaase!! End this show...it's been dragging and dragging...plus the bitter truth is the portrayal of Meethi by Tina Dutta is so over-the-top and irritating...she can't act...it's a wonder that this total nonsense has still been going on and shows like 'Na Bole Tum' are axed!!

Iccha really irritates me big time. She tries to cast herself in sacrificial mode even when it is not necessary. She is too artificial and certainly not true or practical. She irritayes me n mannny uttaran watchers to the core... Same expression throughout the serial.. No acting skills. Worst voice.. (Worse than himesh reshammiya) She always talks 'naak se'.. U can really call the 'manhus' person of uttaran. Ders even happy version of her- the stupid meethi.. God..! Her stupid acting n character both are a pain in a.s.s... Did i see meethi's makeup??? Yellow top yellow tacky nail paints, yellow clicks yellow earings, green skirt n dat ugly stoles.. N wot not.. Mukta is way far better n beautiful.. But iccha aka tina dutta should be fired out!! She must b having some sexual chakkar wil.any of d producer or d director n dats d reason she is stil in d.show... Although i never heard iccha got any awards, ppl must surely b bribed by iccha to give her award or may ne the juries were maniacs to even consider iccha as a nominee..may be the juries were incompetent n.had absolute no knowledge of acting... As for the show completing 1000 episodes, alone Tapasya n Rathore are carrying this show on their shoulders bcoz they are the movers and shakers of Uttaran n story is revolving around them.. Even though d show got good twist n turn, d script writers of uttaran r doing hype! How can dey show so stupidity on d show.. Its jus getting worst day by day for showing how tapasya asked for divorce n.rathore immediately gav her divorce. No mention of wat illnes she had.. Wot crap.? They should make sensible scripts n justice to d show.. N if dey do d right way show wil definitly b crossing 2000 episodes!
