Actress Madhura Naik was recently spotted supporting PINKTOBER at the Hard Rock Cafe alongside her rock band 'ModernMafia' which she recently became a part of as a lead vocalist. The band supports the fight against cancer and spreads awareness about breast cancer.

Madhura Naik took an initiative for this signature Breast Cancer Awareness Program for creating awareness and raising funds for breast cancer charity in Mumbai this 11th of October 2012. Madhura also plans to set up her own NGO / Foundation this year which she's working on and will be called "MANA" named after her initials "MAdhura NAik" which also means "life force".

Madhura asserts that she's quiet a feminist herself and feels her NGO would be women, children and education centric. Wen we asked her about her feminism, she said, "Yes I'm very much a feminist and I believe in the famous words - you educate a man, you educate a man, your educate a woman, you educate a whole generation.
